Alton Towers

Alton Towers is the United Kingdoms number one theme park, with rides and attractions aimed at every member of the family.
Alton Towers offers adventure and fun for the whole family There are rides for all ages. The Nemesis ride and the new Oblivion attraction, a white knuckle ride, and Ug Land a virtual reality cave game. Also the Haunted House and Ripsaw Ride and lots more thrilling attractions and rides.
For the young children Toyland Tours, or the Farm, recently redeveloped with rides suitable for younger children. There are also traditional fairground attractions.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach

The Pleasure Beach has five roller coasters including a twin track racer! Set in 42 acres a host of attractions are available from travelling to the times of the dinosaurs, Alice in Wonderland, the Greatest Show on Earth, the Log Flume and Funshineland.
Pleasure Beach® is Britain's Biggest Tourist Attraction whose mission it is to make adults feel like children again. The park is open from February until November, opening times do vary and please be aware that the times posted on this site are estimated.

Flamingo Land incorporates Theme Park, Zoo and Holiday resort in one.
Flamingo Land Theme Park and Zoo is one of the UK's top 20 attractions receiving over 1.1 millions visitors per year.
Flamingo Land offers 375 acres of fun-filled activities. This is one of the largest and most popular fun parks in the UK with more than 100 white-knuckle rides and slides, spectacular shows and wildlife from all over the world. It claims to hold Europe’s largest zoo and houses exotic birds, mammals, fish and reptiles with camels, lions, tigers, and polar bears. Top thrill rides include the Terroriser, Bullet, Wild Mouse, Top Gun, and Corkscrew.
The Zoo is home for over 1.000 animals, including: flamingos, lions and , zebras, sea lions, reptiles and the penguins. Many of the animals are endangered species and
would be threatened in the wild.

The Theme Park main gates open at 10am and the major rides & attractions start at 10.30am. The Park closes from 4.30pm onwards, depending on the time of year.
There are 14 different places to eat at Lightwater Valley including the Conservatory and Riviera Food Halls that serve a mouth watering selection of theme park favourites, including a superb choice of ‘Healthy Options’. As well as range of kiosks throughout the Park serving something tasty ‘to go’ – all at great value!
